Things to do

Canary Riverside is in a perfect location for residents to explore all that London has to offer.  Here are some of our suggestions.

Canary Wharf

Check out Canary Wharf's events programme for news of what’s coming up. The Crossrail place roof garden is a pleasant spot to visit, and there is plenty of art to investigate, including Henry Moore’s Old Flo. Check here for the guide to art at Canary Wharf and you can download and follow the art trail.

The Docklands Museum of London

Located just off Hertsmere road, five minutes away from Canary Riverside, the Docklands Museum is free and has an extensive permanent exhibition detailing the history of the Docklands as well as interesting exhibitions throughout the year.

The Sky Garden at the Walky Talky

Great views over London and of Canary Riverside!  What's more, it's free (though advance booking is required).  Take the DLR to Bank, and it's a 3-minute walk to 20 Leadenhall Street, aka the Walky Talky.

Mudchute Farm

Mudchute Park and Farm is located in the middle of the Isle of Dogs, walking distance from Canary Riverside. For more information about finding the farm see its Plan Your Visit pages.

Greenwich

Home to the Meridian Line, Cutty Sark, Royal Observatory and lots more.  You can walk or cycle from Canary Riverside along the river bank, taking the foot tunnel under the Thames, or hop on the DLR.

Please send your suggestions of your favourite things to do and we will add them to our website.
