Hyperoptic fibre broadband is coming to Canary Riverside

Canary Riverside residents have had fibre to the premises (FTTP) - the ‘gold standard’ of broadband provision - since 2012 when Openreach installed a fibre optic network.

This is now going to be supplemented by the installation of a Hyperoptic fibre network, providing residents with greater choice in their fibre broadband provider. Installation of the network commences on 10th May. We will keep you updated as to when you can connect to Hyperoptic.

Water outage at Berkeley Tower and Hanover House

Message from Ronnie McCarthy, Estate Manager:

“There was a burst water mains pipe yesterday on P2 Berkeley tower, which led to us having to shut down the lifts for approximately 1 hour.

A message was sent out to all residents of Berkeley tower informing them of this, shortly after we received complaints of Hanover’s resident not receiving any water, fortunately by this time a temporary repair was made restoring services back as they should.

I was informed by security that water pressures dropped last night at around 22:30pm then returned to normal some 1 – 2 hours later. The water pressure dropped  again this morning at 06:00am so an engineer was called out, the engineer has confirmed all services are now up and running.

I have instructed both concierges to inform their residents.

Kind regards

Ronnie McCarthy | Estate Manager”
